Scott J. Borge
October 7, 1955 - January 30, 2024
Tribute
On January 30th, 2024 Scott J Borge went on his next hiking adventure.
From a young age Scott worked in the glass industry on Vancouver Island from Victoria, Mill Bay and ending in Chemainus.
Scott was born in Santa Rosa, California on October 7, 1955.
He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Henry and brother Wallace Norman (known as Corky).
His parents left the rat race in southern California in 1957 and moved their family to British Columbia eventually settling in Victoria.
He was a loyal devoted gentle husband, Dad, brother, son, Padot, uncle, and friend. Someone you could always count on.
Scott loved his family; his wife of 45 years Gunnell, son Stefan (Stacey), daughter Mieka (Damen). Grandchildren- Ebony (Stephen), Autumn (Jeremy), Ethan, Oscar, Odin, Freya, and great grandson Jordan. His sister Barbara Borge Landell (Bob), brother Gordon Norman (Eileen) brother-in-law, Jyrki Gutemar (Joanne), numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. We are so thankful for every moment we had with him, his wonderful voice, and all of his elaborate stories.
One of his favourite words was “integrity” and he lived his life that way.
The family would like to give special thanks to Cowichan Palliative Team and Cowichan Hospice House for their heartfelt care for Scott.
“We will see you in the forest”.
Join us at 1-4 pm on March 2, 2024 at the Crofton Community Centre to share memories and stories of this wonderful Man.
