Dear Derek,Aron, Jon, Fiona and Families,
I am so sorry not to be with you today.
I am remembering the great laughs that Roselyne and I shared.
I am hoping that you will do the same.
She was the best laugher and always up for some fun, hiking, cycling, canoeing, swimming even though she didn’t love all those things.
Remember the great times, today and all the tomorrows.
She was my “sister” friend.
Keep in touch and remember the laughter and love that she shared with each of you.
Love Sue

Derek, Aron, Jon and Fiona:
We were greatly sadden to hear of Roselyne’s passing. Our condolences to each of you and to the members of your families.
We have many great memories of your family from your time in Peterbrough. Among those memories was the pleasure of sharing outstanding dinner parties as well as participating in 10 K races. We know you will miss her immensely as her family was always very important to her. She will always have a special place in our hearts.
You are in our thoughts as you go through this very difficult time.

Dear Derek: Pat and I were shocked and saddened to hear that Roselyne had succombed to her illness, It must be a grievous loss for you after making such personal sacrifices, these past two years, to secure a long and happy retirement for you both. And then, this.
I was more fortunate than Pat in that I got to know Roselyne quite well, through hiking with her. I too am an immigrant and I admired her for how readily she had subsumed into this our culture. I enjoyed her wisdom and her friendship.
As you know, Pat’s and my lives have been in turmoil these past several months, as a consequence of our own actions. When our affairs are back in order, we look forward to seeing you again, perhaps for another bike ride or a hike.
Derek, we send our condolences to you and your family, and extend our best wishes to you all for the future.
Yours sincerely, John Wheatley

Dear Derek, Aron Jon and Fiona, I am deeply saddened to hear of Roselyne’s passing. The last time I saw her was at her mum’s funeral in Sibu, and was blessed to have been able to reconnect with her and sense her pride in the family that she nurtured. I cherish the memory of our meeting. May God’s peace be with all of you.

Just learned of Roselyn’s passing and am shocked and saddened as it was not that long ago we communicated. I have such fond memories of our time together in Peterborough and the long chats we shared during our running days. Roselyne was a cherished friend to everyone who had the privilege to know her and spend time with her and was the beneficiary of her generosity and kindness. She will be missed by all who knew her but especially by her family who meant the world to her. She left us too soon but may the legacy and memory of her time with you live forever in your hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time.
