Tribute
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret, his children Glenn and Ann Armstrong, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren as well as his faithful dog Abbey. He was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Louetta (nee Bartlett). He was a proud retired captain of the East York Fire Department.
A service will be held at H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre, 5285 Polkey Road, Duncan, BC on Friday, October 6 at 2:00 PM.

Dear Margaret. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Bob. He was a great man. Always had a sense of humor to everything. I know since you moved to BC we lost contact, and I was truly hoping to get to see you once I arrived. I know Ann and her family are truly broken with the loss of her dad and the children’s grandpa. I know how hard it is to lose someone. I know these words sound trivial right now, because the pain is so deep. There is no question in my mind that Bob is watching over all of you. To know that Jesus extended his hand for Bob to take is comforting, but that unfortunately does not help the pain right now. You are all in my heart and prayers. Keep Your eyes on Jesus he will guide you and comfort you. Lots of love Trish

Margaret I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I was heartbroken hearing from Norman and Megan about Bob passing.
