Linda Isabelle Weber (Braulin)

Tribute
Linda Weber passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital.
Surrounded by friends and family.
Linda will be remembered fondly by her two sons Carl and Allan, (Evelyn), nephew Tony and so many others she cared for.
Linda’s family moved to the Cowichan Valley from Esterhazy, Saskatchewan in 1955. She was preceded by her mother Isabel Sahlmark, father Raymond Braulin, and brothers Roger and Kenneth. Linda will be remembered for her kind and compassionate heart. Linda worked for many years with the school district.
By request, there will be no service. Donations in Linda’s name can be made to Cowichan Valley Basket Society are appreciated.

Carl and Allen, my sincerest condolences in the passing of your Mother. I have known your Mom since high school, although we were not really close, it was so nice to bump into over the years. We would try and cram in so much in the 15 or 20 minutes we chatted. Usually it was about you two, she was so proud of you both. It was so nice to see her at our 50th reunion in 2019, we had an opportunity to really visit. Hold your memories close and May they give you comfort.

Dear Carl and Allen, I am sorry to be so late with this note. I just recently knew of your mom’s passing. Your mom was a caring and compassionate lady to work with and I am glad that I got to know her. After retiring from work, we would have “Catch up time” when we met , usually at a grocery store. Her friendliness will always be remembered.
