Tribute
Ken Brunt, 89 yrs old was
Born in Nanaimo BC, grew up in Bamberton and graduated from Cowichan High School in 1954. His first job at Cowichan joinery then Cowichan School District 79 where he retired.
Ken loved his family being around and being fussed over as a grandad
Loved hunting, playing crib, working with his hands, building cupboards, decorations, working with wood, cutting firewood, using his chainsaw & his family pets.
Ken spent many years volunteering with the Somenos Community Hall and the Girl Guides Hall and campsite in Duncan
Ken is survived by brother Terry(Linda) sister Anne Fairclough. Wife Rose and children Janice(Peter), Vera(Julius), Harry, Allan(Leia), Tom, Arvon, Carolyn(Reg) Many grandchildren, great grandchildren. cousins, nieces and nephews near and far.
Ken requested no service and in lieu of flowers donations to Coastal Animal Control Services at cacs@telus.net

Sorry to hear of Kens passing. I always remembered the days our family would go camping with yours. Ken would do all the setting up of the campsite and that would usually be a couple of tents and lots of tarps to keep us out of the rain. I always thougt a lot of him
