Tribute
Joe passed away peacefully with family at his side at the Cowichan District Hospital.
He loved music, boating, camping and driving around the Cowichan Valley.
Predeceased by his wife Carole, he leaves behind his sister Joyce, children Vern, Lyn, Debbie, Gary, Patty, and Sandy and their spouses. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

So sorry to here of Joes passing, we worked together in Jordan River in 1963, Joe was on a front end loader for Chew and we were resurfacing the gravel road to Port Renfrew. Had a fun evening in the Sidney hotel a few years later and low and behold Joe and Carol bought a house behind us on Inveraity road . I saw a cat working a fill site between us and I said to Gail I think that’s Joe and sure enough it was . Again I’m sorry for your loss.

Sorry for the loss of your dad. Lots of great childhood memories of listening to Mr. McIntyre play the piano, although he always told me to call him Joe! It was a joy to watch him play. May he rest in peace.
