From: James Rapley

I am so sorry to hear about Doug passing.
Growing up as neighbors to the Parkhills farm was a privelege for me. I had so many positive experiences. When I was around 10 years old, I rode with Doug when he was driving trucks in our area a number of times over the summer break. Experiences such as these I will always remember. He always had a smile to greet you with whenever we met. Kind and caring. He will be greatly missed.
My condolences to all.
