Emily passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, at the age of 90 in the Chemainus Health Centre on Vancouver Island where she had lived for 11 years. She was born in Smoky Lake Alberta on January 7 1934, spent most of her life in Edmonton Alberta, then moved to Abbotsford, BC in 1990.
Emily was predeceased by her parents Nick and Mary Elaschuk, her husband of 55 years Donald Daffe and her husband of 3 years Alan O’Hara.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Deborah Daffe and Pamela Daffe (Gary) her sisters Rita Hodges and Gloria Blowes, her 6 grandchildren: Michael Tousignant, Jennifer Hayes, Katherine Tousignant, Daniel Daffe Charbonneau, Sean Tousignant and Dominique Petruska, and her 7 and a half great-grandchildren.
Emily will join her husband Donald Daffe at the Hazelwood Cemetery in Abbotsford, BC on June 14, 2024, following a funeral mass at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
