Anoop Kumar Parmar
July 17, 1975 - April 28, 2021
Tribute
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anoop Kumar Parmar on April 28, 2021. He was taken from us far too soon at the age of 45. Anoop was one of a kind and will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a thoughtful, generous, loyal, and loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. He is survived by his parents, Amrik and Balinder, his brother, Dev, and his sisters, Angela (Rajinder), Neelam (Jonny), nephews, Aaron and Raman, and numerous relatives and friends.
Born on July 17, 1975, at the Cowichan District Hospital, Anoop was the youngest of four children. Anoop loved life completely and lived it intensely. He lived and worked in Duncan for most of his life. He graduated from Cowichan Secondary School in 1994.
During high school, he worked at Romeo’s Pizza. After graduation, Anoop worked at Doman Industries before moving on to manage Blueline Sports. He then moved to Vancouver to manage Eye to Eye Opticians.
He had a playfulness that energized those around him and a smile that melted hearts. He appreciated the simple things in life and had a beautiful soul. Anoop was a free spirit who brightened our lives and had endless love for his family and friends. It’s a love shared that will never fade away. He forever lives in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
We are thankful for the life of this unforgettable and irreplaceable person whose beauty, both inside and out, will never be extinguished from our hearts and minds.

Anoop will always be by our side.
“Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again”
HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, “Come to me.”
With tear filled eyes we watched him
Suffer and fade away.
Although we loved him deeply,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard-working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
