Tribute
It is with profound sadness that the family of Peter James Sagaskie announces his passing on October 23, 2010. Peter will always be cherished by his loving family, wife Eula, daughters Ambrosia, Jasmine & Krystal and grandchildren Aidan & Lily.
The middle son of Frederick (“Curly”) & Marjorie (“Toots”) is fondly remembered by brother’s Tom & Danny and their families. Peter will be forever missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Family and friends are invited to an open house to share photo’s stories and play music to celebrate Pete’s life on November 13th, 2010 from 12 noon until 6p.m. at The Saanich Historical Artifacts Society Schoolhouse 7321 Lochside Drive. Central Saanich.

I was very sad to read about Pete’s passing in the weekends paper. Please pass my sympathy and condolences to family members.
I’ll always remember Pete as one who liked to share a story. I always enjoyed pulling up to the parking lot at Apex and seeing his truck in the parking lot, looking forward to a chat with him. He always went out of his way to help out in any way – without wanting anything in return. He was a good man.

Dear Eula and family”:
I was really shocked to see the notice of Peter’s death in the Citizen. Just wanted you to know that
my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. I will be unable to attend your open house
as I am leaving the country Saturday for three weeks. The first year will be especially hard with all the “firsts”
where Peter will be missed but time does help the pain.
I will think of you on the 13th.
