BATTY: Betsy Ivy (Betty) – Passed away peacefully at the Chemainus Health Care Centre on Tuesday May 12, 2009. Born in England on February 5, 1915. Predeceased by her husband Robert, parents Jack and May Bulcock, brothers Bill and Morby and great granddaughter Brooke.
Lovingly remembered by her family; sons Bob (Jean)and Dave (Brenda); grandchildren; Judy, Jennifer, Robin, Ian, Maureen, Jo-Anne and Brian; great grandchildren; Teresa, Robert, Michelle, Jason, Breanne, Shae, Jenna, and Carson; sisters; Dorothy and Mary; brothers; Jack, Fred and Jeff.
Betsy immigrated from England in 1948 to join the rest of the Bulcock family. She worked in the local Safeway Store for many years.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Terlien, the staff of the Cowichan Lodge and Chemainus Health Care for all their support and caring during Mom’s stay there.
A drop in reception will be held at the Moose Hall 2244 Moose Road, Duncan BC on Wednesday May 20, 2009 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the charity of ones choice. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com.
