It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Craig Alexander Stuart. Craig passed early January 14th morning at the age of 54. Craig is survived by his loving kids, son Colton ( Madison) and Daughter Lexi, Parents: Laurel & Allen, Brothers Glen (Lise) Neil (Tamara) Nephew & Nieces, Gage, Megan and Olivia.
Craig was born and raised in the town of Ladysmith, where he met Julie and they spent 28 years together. After they welcomed Colton and Lexi a few years later they decided to settle down in Lake Cowichan to raise their family.
Craig had a love for the outdoors, hunting & fishing and spending hours in the mountains. Always with his sidekick, Trigger or one of the many pups he had over the years. We will miss seeing him tinker on his chevy truck in the garage and the endless projects on the go and tools he made. A little rough around the edges but had the biggest heart and was the most loyal friend to his ride or dies.
In honour of Craig’s wishes there will be no formal funeral services. Family and friends will toast a day in his memory at his favourite spot in the mountains and will be doing what he loved most.
Rest in peace Dad we sure will miss you.
