Erma Alice Wilson
January 25, 1934 - October 25, 2024
Tribute
Mom was born in Stettler, Alberta during the Depression. Her parents, Clarence (1963) and Florence (1967) both passed at the very young age of 61 years. She was predeceased by her husband Bert (2002), her sister Vera and brother Alvin.
Erma and Bert were married in 1952 and lived in Duncan. They moved to Lake Cowichan where they raised their three sons. They moved back to Duncan in 1968.
Mom and Dad spent many winters in Indio, California. Summers were spent at Honeymoon Bay. After Dad passed, Mom enjoyed travelling, playing cards and visiting the casino, where apparently she did quite well. She loved watching her grandchildren play hockey, baseball, soccer, lacrosse and dance recitals. Family meant a lot to Mom.
She is survived by her sons, Neil (Christine), Danny (Karen) , Mark (Kelly), seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and another one on the way. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy.
Thank you to Dr. Barr for her many years of caring for Mom and to the staff at Sunridge Place.
